Shipping policy

1. Order Processing Time

  • Standard Batches: All standard candle orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 2–4 business days.

  • Custom & Made-to-Order Collections: If your candle features complex artisanal designs (such as our sculptural pillars or specialty dessert glass collections), please allow 3–5 business days for processing, as these are often poured fresh to order.

  • Note: Processing times may extend slightly during major holidays or peak gifting seasons. We do not ship orders on weekends or statutory holidays.

2. Domestic Shipping (Canada & USA)

We partner with major reliable carriers (including Canada Post, UPS, and USPS) to ensure your package is tracked from our workshop to your home.

  • Standard Shipping: Delivers within 3–7 business days after processing.

  • Express Shipping: Delivers within 1–3 business days after processing.

  • Shipping Rates: Calculated dynamically at checkout based on the total weight of your order and your exact destination.

3. International Shipping & EU Compliance

We gladly ship our artisan candles worldwide, including to the European Union (EU), United Kingdom, and Australia.

  • International Delivery Timeline: Typically takes 7–21 business days, depending on the destination country and customs clearance.

  • Customs, Duties, and Taxes (VAT): For international shipments (especially to the EU), the recipient is the importer of record. You may be subject to local import duties, customs clearance fees, and Value Added Tax (VAT) once the shipment reaches your country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are collected by your local postal authority or courier. WarmWhiff has no control over these government-mandated fees.

  • Artisan Return Window Alignment: For our international friends, our strict 7-day return window only begins the exact day your tracking number marks the package as "Delivered" at your international address. Transit time does not count against you.

4. Warm-Weather Shipping & Melt Protection

Because our candles are crafted from natural soy wax, they are inherently sensitive to extreme heat. During summer months or if shipping to exceptionally warm climates:

  • We pack our candles using thermal wrap and biodegradable packing peanuts to protect the intricate wax details from melting.

  • We highly recommend selecting Express Shipping if you live in a hot region to minimize the time your delicate candle spends in a warm delivery truck.

  • Please ensure someone is available to bring the package indoors immediately upon delivery so it does not sit out in direct sunlight.

5. Tracking Your Order

The moment your package is labeled and leaves our hands, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to trace its journey in real time. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking link to update with live carrier information.
