We didn't set out to build a candle business.

We set out to make something beautiful.

How WarmWhiff Started

It started on a completely ordinary afternoon. My husband and I were having lunch at home, with a plain vanilla candle burning on the table between us. At some point we just stopped talking and watched it — the flame, the slow melt, the quiet of it. And then, almost at the same time, we both thought: this is a little boring to look at. Just... plain white wax.

That one thought turned into a "what if" — what if a candle looked as good burning as it did sitting on a shelf? What if it had a flower, or looked like something you'd actually want to watch melt? So we tried it. Our very first attempt was a daisy flower candle, made right in our own kitchen.

Watching that first daisy melt slowly, petal by petal, was such a soothing feeling — we knew we'd stumbled onto something. That one candle, made out of pure curiosity on a random lunch afternoon, is the reason WarmWhiff exists today.

Today, every candle is still hand-poured right here in North Bay, Ontario — no factories, no shortcuts, just two people who care about getting it right.
